Poochki, named after their pet manx cat is the brainchild of hotelier Anirudh Chawla, and textile designer Ishanee Mukherjee.
Poochki makes you look at block prints in a different light-Think fish and gecko block prints. From unconventional prints to unconventional fabrics they are on a quest to redefine Indian handicraft. What’s interesting about Poochki is how they incorporate their flamboyant silhouettes with subtle block prints and colours. The garment isn’t over powered by any element but rather sings like one harmonious ensemble.
Think intrigue, think confidence, think sheer for spring 2017. Designers articulate this timeless look of transparency in a variety of stunning styles that translate into sheer elegance.
Poochki highlights the power of illusion, with delicate fabrics and the craft of their design. The silhouettes alone transform the looks into impeccable works of art.
