Gulmohar by Pooja Newton depicts a fusion of traditional Indian sensibilities and aesthetics while keeping the modern context alive. Block prints, gota patti work and shaded sarees are their forte with all designs being meticulously handcrafted, organic with sustainable. They cater for women, men and kids.

Pooja Newton, with her roots from the Bikaner Royal Family, is extremely humble and has made her mission to save the dying arts by bringing about awareness of handwork, handcrafts and hand printing. She believes strongly in quality sustainable design, made in India by using only organic cotton or pure fabrics. She believes that the newer generation yearns to connect and wear handcrafted textiles but there are not enough options and Gulmohar by Pooja Newton bridges the gap by providing them with silhouettes, styles, patterns and prints.

I styled three pieces from her latest collection. The ensembles are young, vibrant and most importantly comfortable!
