Black is without a question the most loved and hated colour . It goes with everything- black doesn’t stand out. I often find myself rummaging through my closet trying to find the right black garment just by feeling it. This brings me to the theme of my post : creating an all black outfit with different textures because every fabric has a different look and feel to it even if it is all black.

The beauty of all-black? You can mix textures without fear of creating an overly busy ensemble. Here is a NYE look that I created in all black.

I am a self proclaimed pants lady! I decided to not go the usual way and pick up a dress for new years and instead teamed up these very 90s but very in trend pleated flared bell bottoms with a lace bustier. The delicate lace balances the fierce bottom and adds a feminine touch to the ensemble. Paired it with chunky but practical heels for the all night dancing session and hot pink lips to finish it off!

Throw a knitted cardigan over to bear the cold wind , it also adds another texture to the outfit. You could also try fringes, fur, suede and sheer fabrics to create your perfect look!
